The Breakers Junior Academy is part of the developmental process for all Breakers players. All the Breakers boys and girls U9 to U12 teams are invited during the fall and spring seasons to attend the Breakers Junior Academy on a rotational basis. The goal of the Academy is to develop fundamental skills and club camaraderie in a competitive and fun atmosphere. This program supplements team training with the aim of improving players’ individual technique. All players should wear Breakers gear during the Junior Academy training sessions.
The Junior Academy is free of charge to Breakers players and is held on Wednesdays at Cabrillo College. Goalkeeper training is also offered during these sessions. Players should not arrive any earlier than 3:45 and should be picked up on time near the field.
The Junior Academy is run by coaching directors and is staffed by Breakers coaches and former Breakers youth players, as well as guest coaches.
